Hi!

I’m Andréa Tyniec. I’m a performance coach and violin teacher.

My students have won auditions and scholarships to Canadian and US Universities, have been accepted in masterclasses and competitive programs, and have performed as soloists with orchestra.

They have transformed their habits to show up at their best every day in their practice, life and concert performances.

I help you continue dreaming big, navigate the ups and downs of the concert and entertainment industry, adopt the right mindset, and plan how to practice so that all your hard work pays off when it matters the most: both on stage and in your life.

What happens in a lesson?

Well, first I like to get to know YOU.

What your musical experiences have been like so far, what you'd like to achieve, what has gotten in your way in the past… We assess together your strengths and the challenges you face.

Then we make a plan together, about the kind of repertoire you’ll be mastering, which concerts and competitions or projects you want to participate in, and what kind of technical skills you want to prioritize improving in.

Will you make me better?

The truth is, you will make yourself better.

I’ll give you all the tools, the support and the accountability I can so that you can perform the way you want to perform.

What you get from me, is my full commitment to showing up for you. I keep you clear on what you can do next to improve, and on the bigger picture to inspire you.

Will it be fun?

I absolutely LOVE the process of learning, improving, changing and problem solving.

Watching my students grow and achieve new heights in performance and persist to tackle their personal challenges is fulfilling.

So if you’re committed to learning, I know you’ll have a lot of fun too!

Sounds good, but how do I know this is right for me?

This is for you if you:

  • are ready to commit to your practice

  • want someone in your corner who'll support and challenge you to keep getting better

  • want to make the most of your time, and know what to work on and how.

  • want to learn habits to maximize your learning, memorization, performance, and physical and mental health.

  • are ready to commit to being the best you can possibly be!
